PET SITTING

Pet sitting in your own home offers an alternative to boarding facilities for cats and other small animals while you are away.  Your pet stays in their own familiar surroundings.

I can visit once a day or more to: -

• Check your pet’s welfare
• Feed and water
• Provide companionship
• Clean out litter trays, fish tanks, vivariums, cages and hutches
• Take care of basic grooming
• Administer medication (including insulin injections)
• Apply flea/worming preparations

If required I can also water plants, bring in mail or newspapers, open and close curtains, turn lights on and off, put bins in and out, check overall security and ensure you have a pint of milk and a loaf of bread in the house on your return.  For additional peace of mind, I’m happy to e-mail you updates and photos of your pet(s) while you are away.  All included as part of the service!

Your pet insurance may cover pet sitter’s expenses, particularly if you need hospital treatment, so this is worth checking.

Price is based on duration of visit rather than number of pets.
